Job Post: Finance Manager
The ideal applicant will meet the following requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
Computer literacy in various accounting /MRP packages
Professional qualification-professional accountant will be advantageous
EXPERIENCE:
Ten years related experience in a financial/accounting environment.
Three years’ experience in a Financial Management position.
In-depth experience in budgeting/forecasting, cash flow management and costing.
Sound and in-depth, financial /accounting skills
SKILLS ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE:

Ensure productivity and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective personnel management, training and development skills.
System maintenance and development abilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fully responsible for the financial department, including external and internal audit liaison.
Responsible for all financial reporting of the group.
Sign-off of all GL & AP recons.
Approve all new vendors on financial system.
Sign off credit notes.
Calculate and sign-off of bonus calculations and payments.
Sign-off of all intercompany balances.
Attend meetings on behalf of financial department.
Tax, deferred tax and royalty calculations and submissions.
Overall responsibility for all SARS matters – Public officer of all entities in Kangra group.
Approve and manage the financial department expenses.
Bank approval for all payments in two banks, Standard Bank and Nedbank.
Interview applicants for vacant/available positions.
Responsible for Kangra group insurance portfolio.
Responsible for the Kangra group cash flow-management and forecasting.
Check and approve monthly salary reconciliation and salary journal.
Fully responsible for the entire mine budgets for the Kangra group.
Sign off balances of RBCT short-term and long-term loans.
Develop new reports for production and finance.
System and accounting structure development.
Identify potential risk, fraudulent transactions.
Ad Hoc costing exercise and calculations (Buy-in Coal, Rehab, Contract-mining, projects, etc.).
