Fraudulent Recruitment Promises And Leads

We advise members of the public to be vigilant of false job or tender advertisements claiming to be from Kangra. Please check the authenticity of social media posts and adverts not affiliated with Kangra’s online platforms, and be wary of phone calls from people masquerading as the company’s representatives.

Kangra would like to state categorically:

  • We will never ask for any monetary compensation in exchange for a job or business opportunity

  • We do not conduct recruitment activities outside of working hours

  • On all our social platforms: X: @KangraCoal | Facebook: KangraCoal | LinkedIn: kangracoal

  • At the company’s mine notice boards

  • At the local municipal offices and through the Community Engagement Forums.

We encourage anyone who has fallen victim to or encountered such scams to provide information. Individuals who have made payments in exchange for promised job placements may also contact us. Within reasonable bounds, we may assist in initiating criminal cases with authorities.
