Job Post: Rotable Controller
The ideal applicant will meet the following requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 / N3
Trade tested: Fitter/Electrician/Diesel Mechanic
Computer literate (Microsoft office). Excel Advanced and Microsoft Projects would be an added advantage
Code 8 Drivers License
EXPERIENCE:
Mining environment experience
At least ten (5) years post trade test experience as Electrician/Fitter/Diesel Mechanic
At least five (2) years related experience in Warranty/Quality control
Supervisory experience
Planner and rotable store experience will be added advantage

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set and maintain high safety, health, environmental and quality standards
Maintain and control stock levels
Track and report on Sub Assembly life and performance
Set and maintain a good and ethical business relationship between customers and suppliers
Maintain and control all necessary documentation pertaining to department and audit requirements
Expedite costs between suppliers and OEM
Maintain and control turnaround time on repairs to critical equipment
Monitor Warranty claims
Technically review, inspect/investigate and report sub-assembly failure modes
Adhere to all legal and mine Standards and procedures
Procurement, develop purchase orders and expedite stock return to the mine
